Botox

Botox

Botox is the most common aesthetic procedure worldwide. It is an injectable treatment that is quick and safe. It works by stopping the transmission of the nerve impulses to the muscle, thereby relaxing the muscle. Extremely small amounts are injected.  Effects are seen with 7-10 days and lasts between 3-5 months. A follow-up consultation can be done after 10 days to do a ‘top up’ if necessary. Amounts injected can vary from person to person.  Please make an appointment to assess how much you will need.  Botox is suitable for men and women.

Omnilux Light Therapy

Omnilux Light Therapy

Omnilux therapy can be used as a standalone therapy or with ALA (aminolavulanic acid) for intensive skin rejuvenation. It accelerates healing and extends the lifespan of Botox & Fillers. It can be used after surgery to reduce bruising and swelling. Omnilux can also be used to remove pigmented skin lesions where excision is not recommended (only non-cancerous lesions)

Dermapen

Dermapen

Dermapen Treatments/ Collagen injection
This is a great device with disposable attachments that ‘needles’ the skin. Dermapen’s advanced skin needling technology uses multiple needles that vertically pierce the skin with an automatic vibrating function. When moved across the skin’s surface it stimulates natural collagen reproduction, whilst allowing fine channels to be created in the skin. The channel can carry up to 80% more topical nutrients, allowing for treatment delivery deep into the skin’s fibroblasts to feed the underlying cells found in the dermis and basal layer. This increased absorption of active ingredients into the skin creates stimulated repair and faster resurfacing results.
Advanced skin needling promotes scarless healing and the deposition of normal woven collagen, similar to factional laser treatments but without the side effects and downtime. It’s also more effective than most microdermabrasion and chemical peels.
Perfect for:
Aged sagging skin
Fine lines & wrinkles
Skin tightening and rejuvenation
Large pores
Stretch marks
Scars (acne, surgical and burns
Dermapen treatments gives an overall stunning glow to the skin!
Fillers

Fillers

Intradermal fillers are injected into wrinkles that are caused by volume loss. Fillers plump up these deep lines by stimulating collagen production. Effects are seen within 6-10 weeks and lasts between 8-14 months depending on the type of filler used. They can also be used for shaping facial contours and reshaping or volumising lips.
The fillers we use contain hyaluronic acid which is found in all living organisms. They are biocompatible and complications are virtually unknown as tissue rejection is not a risk.
Side effects includes slight bruising and swelling. We use a local anaesthetic cream to minimize pain. We highly recommend adding Omnilux LED Revive therapy which accelerates healing & prolongs the life span of fillers.
Thread Lifting

Thread Lifting

This is a new innovative technique of face rejuvenation, which offers the benefit of a non-surgical
Intervention and therefore, it only requires a short period of recuperation.  The material consists of biodegradable threads that have long been used in surgery.  During this procedure, threads are inserted into the deeper connected tissues.  They attach themselves in the subcutaneous tissue and if positioned properly they create a tension into the desired direction.  This creates a mild stretch of the subcutaneous tissue and the skin, which is firmed up after a few days by the natural increase in connective tissue.
Local anaesthesia is used for the treatment and the threads are absorbed after a certain time depending on the material.  Additional threads can be placed at any time.

What effects do the threads have?
There are different kind of threads for different needs. These threads have generally a skin supporting, tightening and brightening function.  Depending on the type of thread used the result can also range to lifting and reshaping.
